At 23 o 'clock on August 27th, Shandong Water Conservancy Construction Group Co., Ltd. received the notification of the allocation of flood control materials from the Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters of the People's Government of Shandong Province, and immediately reported to the Party Committee of the Water Conservancy Development Group. In accordance with the arrangement of the Party Committee of the Group, the Company quickly held meetings to formulate work plans and assembled equipments and technical personnel overnight, so as to support the flood control and rescue work in Shouguang City.
At about 11:00 a.m. on the 28th, eleven long arm excavators and more than twenty technicians arrived at the flood control front-line in Shouguang City, and immediately put into the work of digging drainage channels to discharge the accumulated water as soon as possible to minimize the loss and prevent secondary risks caused by further rainfall.
At present, the flood control and rescue work is undertaken in an orderly way under the unified deployment of the Flood Control and Rescue Headquarters of Weifang City.
